Body-Oriented Coaching
"A very powerful and
transformative approach"
- Denisa
"My ongoing pain issue has reduced in severity"
- Kaye
"Strong, powerful and lovingly balanced coaching" - Patricia
Feeling stuck, stressed, overwhelmed, anxious or drained, amongst other things, can lead to muscle tension (e.g. headaches, migraines, neck and back pain), digestive issues, a weakened immune system and sleep disturbances. To try to minimise these physical issues, we often medicate against them, numbing them and, in turn, disconnecting from our bodies. However, these pains and physical discomforts may be symptoms of the underlying emotional suffering, and without properly addressing what's happening in our bodies, there's a risk this unprocessed emotional suffering may become chronic.
But Body-Oriented Coaching can help you process and release these emotional sufferings and physical discomforts, as well as the mental challenges that may arise from feeling stuck, stressed, overwhelmed, anxious or drained (e.g. an overactive mind, difficulties in concentration, memory, decision-making and problem-solving).
In fact, new research in coaching has shown working with your body, as well as your mind, can shift your mental state, as well as give you the breakthrough and lasting change you cannot get from working with your mind alone. With advances in sciences like Interpersonal Neurobiology and Embodied Cognition showing just how central to our intelligence our bodies are, working with the body is one of the easiest and most accessible ways to help you move forward, as well as one of the most transformational.

“A huge and lasting shift” – Hayley

My holistic approach sets itself apart from traditional coaching methods, by also incorporating body awareness techniques, mindfulness, movement, and techniques from established body psychotherapies, such as Hakomi, Focusing and Organic Intelligence, as well as positive psychology and positive neuroplasticity interventions (how to combat the brain’s negativity bias and re-wire your brain).
This unique range of strategies creates a comprehensive, trauma informed, nervous system conscious approach to addressing the challenges of feeling stuck, stressed, overwhelmed, anxious or drained. Helping you release emotional distress and bodily tension, relax your mind's pressured pace, regain a sense of control, increase your self-confidence and self-worth, cultivate healthy coping mechanisms to navigate challenges more effectively, improve your focus, perform at higher levels, and awaken more aliveness, pleasure, joyous play, deep satisfaction and bliss in your life.

Testimonials
"Although I am aware of the connection between the physical body and the mind, I hadn’t experienced body-oriented coaching before so I was curious to see how it would differ from ‘regular’ coaching, which tends to focus on our thoughts, cognitive feelings, and behaviours. I came to the process a bit apprehensive, but Georgina was highly instrumental in helping me explore how I physically felt in my body with regards to issues that I brought to the session – challenges that I had been experiencing for some time. Shifting the focus from my mind to the physical sensations and my breathing added another layer of insight that was completely new to me. It helped bring different perspectives to my challenges that are still proving useful weeks later. I can thoroughly recommend Georgina and the body-oriented approach to coaching!"
Martina Doherty - Business Psychologist, Leadership Coach and Well-being Consultant
"Working with Georgina was the first experience I'd had of coaching using a body-oriented technique, and her warm, gentle and professional approach made me feel safe and comfortable enough to be open. After the session, I felt like I'd accessed parts of myself that I hadn't before, that provided me with clarity, and I felt lighter. I was surprised at how powerful it was and also how useful I'd found it in such a short space of time. I really enjoy working with Georgina - she is amazing at what she does, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her as a coach."
Anna Gaunt - Support Line Manager at the TSA, Wellbeing Coach and Writer
"I really enjoyed being coached by Georgina. She is very professional as well as kind and creates a very safe environment to explore deeper issues. I found her body-oriented approach very powerful and transformative. Under her guidance, I was able to discover many profound insights quite quickly and I left the session with a deep sense of clarity and a new understanding. She offered just the right balance of freedom to explore what I wanted to and structure to keep the session focused on what we agreed on. I highly recommend her."
"I'd highly recommend Georgina as a coach. Her embodied approach means you can go much more deeply into an issue much more quickly and find solutions to ongoing issues in the most unexpected of places, as answers simply emerge. In our one-hour virtual coaching session, I spent half an hour accessing my body's wisdom about a chronic health condition and received new insights and healing, all gently guided and accompanied by Georgina's compassionate presence. By the end of the session, not only did I feel heard, held, and validated, I also felt that my body had softened and been nourished and as a result my ongoing pain issue has reduced in severity. Thank you so much, Georgina, and I hope to book another session with you soon."
"I love working with Georgina. She has a very gentle but powerful coaching style and is amazing at holding space for everything that emerges. Even in my first session I experienced a huge shift, and tightness that I was repeatedly having in my neck hasn't returned since. I feel very safe doing this work with Georgina. She naturally creates psychological safety in all her communications and before, during and after the coaching sessions. In fact, I immediately recommended her to a friend. I look forward to future coaching sessions with Georgina."

Kaye Heyes - ADHD Coach
"Georgina is an excellent coach using a body-oriented coaching approach. It was the first time for me to experience such a method on myself, which I loved, as it allowed me to relax and visit what had been going on in my life and the reactions of my body to these. I felt less stressed and more aware of my body after the session, which is what I had aimed for. Georgina offered a safe, confidential space for me to explore my bodily reactions through her coaching style and I would recommend Georgina to anyone who wishes to create more awareness of what is really happening deep down inside. I am looking forward to more sessions with Georgina soon."
"I've really enjoyed Georgina's body-oriented coaching style, even though I'd never tried it before. She made me feel comfortable to try something new and I feel it gave me a really different perspective on the topic I brought to coaching. So much so that I actually think I got to a quicker resolution than if I'd gone through a more logical approach like a spider diagram or pros and cons. I had a real sense of calm and stillness at the end of the session and a renewed commitment to trust my instincts. I would thoroughly recommend Georgina and her coaching style to anyone considering coaching."
Harriette Luscombe - Career and Life Coach, Yoga Teacher
Senay Aydın - Senior Lecturer
"Georgina's gentle approach permitted me to feel comfortable during the Body-Oriented coaching session. The session allowed me the opportunity to stop, tune into my body and consider what it was needing and communicating. The session provided a spring board and an energy to make my next steps and to continue to move forward with my plans in a positive and focused manner. I would recommend Georgina and I look forward to my next session with her."
"Georgina's approach to her coaching is soft and gentle, but also lovingly balanced, strong and powerful and put together in a very feminine way. Women can benefit from Georgina's sessions to balance out society’s dominant masculine energy with a more feminine-centred and heart-centred approach. Unless we know ourselves fully, we can't connect with others in deep and meaningful ways and Georgina's deep listening and guidance helps individuals do just that. "
